Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Barristers Law Firm have signed a cooperation agreement on the 2nd of November.
The guest, partner of Barristers JSC Oleksiy Shevchuk, was met by our Rector Michael Zgurovsky, Acting Head of the Department of Information, Economic and Administrative Law Svitlana Bevz and Head of Law Department Yevhen Dergachov. The signing of the agreement was preceded by a discussion by the parties on the organization of cooperation, outlining the main areas of cooperation.
Thus, according to the agreement, applicants for higher education who study at the Faculty of Sociology and Law will be able to practice with the best lawyers in the country. At the suggestion of JSC "Barristers", on the basis of this faculty it is planned to create a law school of European level. It is also envisaged to strengthen the practical training of students, in particular, to expand the practice of working with legal documents, participation in court debates, which will help students enter the labour market by competitive professionals. Oleksii Shevchuk says: "Our team is the best lawyers in the country. If today FSP students have a desire to gain our experience and enter the market competitively, we are ready to share the experience and knowledge they will need in practice, even during a pandemic. “
According to Yevhen Dergachev, the agreement provides an opportunity for cooperation in the field of dual education, implementation of joint projects, seminars, workshops. It is also planned to organize events for the future employment of students.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Barristers Commercial Corporation have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The Faculty of Sociology and Law (FSP) students will do traineeships with the best lawyers in the country.
At the initiative of Barristers Commercial, the University establishes a legal business school of European level based on the FSP.
Such cooperation will help to strengthen the practical training of students, in particular they will work with legal documents, participate in court debates. This will help graduates enter the labor market as competitive professionals.
