On April 25 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumy. He was accompanied by the staff of the the embassy Daiske Minamino and Akhiro Khara.
The guests had a meeting with the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhailo Zgurovsky and a deputy prorector of international relations Yevhen Polischuk and others.
This is not the first visit of the head of the Japanese diplomatic mission to the university. The links between the university and the embassy and, as a result, the KPI's contacts with Japanese universities and research organizations, and, more broadly, between scientists and manufacturers of both countries are also constantly expanding. Therefore, during the current meeting there was a deepening of cooperation between Japan and Ukraine in the field of high technologies.
