April 6–7th, 2017 in Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, located in Bishkek, (Kyrgyzstan) ІІ International student scientific conference "Deutsch und Technik" was carried out. The students from three countries, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, were taking part in it. The conference was carried out with the support of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD); among its moderators were the representatives of DAAD and the German professors. The conference participants were carrying out a presentation and answering the questions in German.The main conference selection requirements were an evidence of own modern technical problem solution and proficiency in German at a high level.
Igor Sikorsky KPI was represented by the Senior students of the Joint Ukrainian-German Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (JUGFME) Andrii Zakharchuk and Maryna Bosiahа. Maryna Bosiahа, the student of the Faculty of Physical Engineering (gr. FT-32, Department of metallurgy and heat treatment) took the conference honours. The topic of her paper was related to the study of the impact of shock-vibration treatment on morphology and the structure of a mixture of SiO2-Al2O3 nanopowders under the supervision of professor and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Y.V. Zaulychnoho.
The students were also presenting their universities and faculties as well as exchanging their experience in German technical language learning.
In their free time, participants of the conference got acquainted with the university’s campus and the Bishkek sights. Participation in this conference contributed to the improvement of mutual understanding between the students of different origin and allowed them to gain the experience in scientific papers and startups presentation.
Such international student conference is planned to be carried out in Kyiv next year.
