Our sincerest and cordial congratulations on 72d anniversary of Defeat of Nazism in II World War! These May days Ukraine is commemorating all those who won the freedom and defended our native land during II World War.

There is a tradition to publish some materials of the past in the jubilee issues of newspapers. We also repeatedly posted on our pages notes and photos reflecting the history of the country and our university.

We celebrated 90th anniversary of our first newspaper edition on 21 April.

April 6–7th, 2017 in Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, located in Bishkek, (Kyrgyzstan) ІІ International student scientific conference "Deutsch und Technik" was carried out. The students from three countries, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, were taking part in it.

The development of modern information technology requires constant updating of courses and programs. In particular, the direction of spatial data infrastructure and geoinformation technologies in Ukraine are not equipped enough with modern Ukrainian-speaking educational literature.

The International Exhibition "Education and Career - Student's Day 2017" was in the Ukrainian House with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine in April 6-8, 2017.

The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant crashed into the whole world on April 26, 1986.

On March, 22 at the  Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was conducted an open student competition in mathematics.

Almost 300 photos and computer graphics works created by 57 participants were presented at the II part of the "Talents KPI - 2017" artistic competition, which took place in the exhibition hall of the building № 7 on April 19.

The chemical branch of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute was opened in 1898. His first dean became the famous chemist Mikhail Ivanovich Konovalov (the one who discovered the "reaction of Konovalov").
