Among the students-winners of all-Ukrainian subject olympiads and competitions, who stepped on the area of Knowledge for the Freshman day, there was a six-year student of the FEA Andriy Randyuk - a capable prospective student of the department of Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drives (AEMS and ED). Acquired through conscientious learning of knowledge and practical skills, he successfully applies to improve his scientific level. Andriy presented his research results, in particular, at the All-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works in the field of "Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics". This competition is traditionally held in Kamianske (formerly Dniprodzerzhynsk) on the basis of the Dnipro State Technical University.The Participation in it is taken by students of all courses from over 30 universities of Ukraine who have passed the first stage of the competition.
Andrew's report on the work titled"The system of vector control of a double-power machine in the mode of an autonomous generator", performed under the guidance of assistant M. M. Zhelinsky, was heard at the department and recommended for submission to the section "Sources and Consumers of Electricity". Two more works of the students of the department were recommended for participation in the competition - O.O. Burmelyova, D.V. Kalugina (supervisor - DS, prof. O.I.Tolochko) and I.M. Gerashchenko, I. V. Krivoshey (supervisor - Ph.D., associate prof. S.O.Buryan). The curator of the trip was Ph.D., assosiate prof., Sergey Aleksandrovich Buryan, who took part in the competition jury.
The organizers of the competition arranged for the guests a solemn opening of the event and a small concert. All speeches by the representatives of Igor Sikorsky KPI were listened to curiosity and attention. To the verdict of the jury, the report of A.Randyuk was recognized as the best (1st place), two others shared the second place.The head of the sectoral commission DS., prof. O.V.Sadov awarded the winners.
The trip to the competition diversified the daily life of students by obtaining new information,the familiarity with new people and allowed to communicate in the "scientific" language with colleagues.
Therefore, we wish the students-winners new creative successes,to Andriy – the successful writing and defense of the master's thesis, entry to the postgraduate study and further scientific achievements. And let this little victory be the beginning of a series of upcoming conquests.
