Police officers qualified event as hooliganism. A suspect is in custody. The event occurred about a month ago in Solomyansky region in Kyiv. It was established that about at 01.00 hour three students of "KPI" were returning to the hostel on Borschahivska street. Confrontation quickly developed into crowds, and one of the guys dragged out a knife of the pocket. As a result, 20-year-old inhabitant of Kiev inflicted knife injuries to three students of KPI. They were taken to the hospital.

Investigation department of the district police department initiated criminal case for this incident under part 4, 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Authorised operatives of the 1st Police Division of Solomyansky region conducted a month measures to establish and arrest criminals. The suspicion of crime was announced to 20-year-old detainee and he was taken into custody. The suspect did not deny his guilt. During the arrest he handed murder weapon to police officers - a knife and clothes with brown staines that was on him that "bloody" night. All removed items were sent for expert examination. The investigation continues.
