Autumn exhibition "The Talents of KPI" pleased everyone with the variety of themes and genres. In particular, the attention of visitors was drawn by the pictures, made by the 6th year students of CEF Yuliia Makovetska and Anna Makovetska. The combination of lines and strokes, contrasts of black and white in their work entirely correspond to the title of the category "Graphics" (from Greek - write, draw). The experts believe that visual art origined from pictures. Without brushes and paint, using a pencil or charcoal graphic artists are able to create images rich for colour and content. If you stay near Yuliia and Anna’s works for a moment and try to imagine the pictrures from inside they magically come to life: you physically feel how time flows, portraits renders the mood and state of the characters, animals demonstrate features characterisctic of them. Flat image is perceived as a real dimensional picture. This is the mastery of the artist.

The girls have first participated in an art contest. By the way, quite by accident, on the advice of their lecturer I.O. Mikulonok, to whom they are very grateful. And suddenly (but deservedly - Author) took the first place in their category. Before they have had experience in exhibitions and handmade fairs, where they offered original postcards and accessories.

The girls came to KPI from Sumy region. Their specialization is "Ecology and Environmental Protection". In the university they enjoy: erudate teachers interesting future profession, many friends and hobbies. In forthcoming years they plan to continue their education in graduate school.

The colleagues are aware of the students’ interest in drawing, because they often order portraits of classmates and friends as a birthday gift or on other occasion. Anna is more inclined to depict people, Yuliia - items. Sometimes they get so engrossed in drawing that don’t notice the night passing by. Also the students sing in KPI choir, gladly take part in concerts and festivals.

They say that talented people are talented in everything. The main talent of students lies not only in successful studying and artistic heritage. Everyone, with whom we have spoken, mention their extraordinary diligence and modesty. Today's reality, when fashionable managers teach to advertise and "sell" oneselves, is not for them. We hope, the destiny will be benevolent and wise, and young talents will eventually get a rightful place and acknowledgement.
