In June, 2, 3 in NTUU "KPI" there was a coordinators delegation of British Council project in Ukraine "English for universities" with participation of advisor Rod Bolitho and project manager Zhanna Sevastianova.
It's worth to remind that this project was implemented in KPI this year (for more information see http://kpi.ua/en/16-04-08-eng).
First day the delegation visited linguistic room at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science and attended an English class for professional orientation for 5 year students, had a meeting with teaching of staff of English language departments, students and post graduates who take part in the program.
Second day the guests had a meeting with the chairmen of English departments, attended English for professional orientation practical training for 3 year students with specialization in "Radio electronic equipment" and lecture on engineering ecology for 3 year students with specialization in "Engineering ecology" as well.
After two-day work, the parties discussed the lines of further cooperation and agreed a series of details in terms of the project "Ukrainian language for universities". On behalf of the university, pro-rector of NTUU "KPI" for international relations, correspondent member of Ukrainian NAS, Sergii Sydorenko, chairman deputy of the department of international cooperation, Yevgen Polishchuk, first pro-rector deputy, manager of academic administration, Sergii Gozhii, director of Center of international education of NTUU "KPI", Volodymyr Koval, director of academic programs of this Center, Borys Tsyganok and deputy of academic department Tetiana Zheliaskova took part in the discussion.
