Second International scientific conference "Languages of professional communication: lingvocultural, cognitive-discursive, Translation Studies and Methodological Aspects" held April 16, 2015 organized by the Department of theory, practice and translation of the French language PL supported by the French Institute at the French Embassy in Ukraine and Resource Centre for English teachers at the US Embassy in Ukraine.
The conference was attended by scholars, educators from 27 universities in Ukraine, as well as academics of the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland) Cracow Pedagogical University, University. S.Demyrelya (c. Almaty, Kazakhstan), teachers CELTA course at the British Council (Krakow, Poland).
Greeted the participants asked the head of theory, practice and translation of French Assoc. IS Polyuk to mark the powerful scientific conference of participants: 13 Professors, Doctors of Philology and Pedagogy, PhD, doctoral students, graduate students and undergraduates.
At the plenary session were: doctor of sciences, Head of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation National Agriculture University of Ukraine prof. S.M.Amelina; professor of Russian and Ukrainian Kyiv National Linguistic University I.M.Nechytaylo; Head of the Foreign Languages Center for Research and Teaching of Foreign Languages NAS of Ukraine professor. O.M.Ilchenko; professor of the theory and practice of translation French A.A.Kalyta, which highlighted the fundamental problems of modern linguistics, translation studies and innovative technologies of teaching foreign languages in the context of professional communication, and outlined promising areas for further scientific research.
The feature of the conference was held at the plenary session of the master class, prepared by the authors of the textbook "Analytical Outlines" - Assoc. Z.M.Kornyevoyu and graduate student Y. Pavlovsky. Z.M.Kornyeva acquainted the audience with the basic concepts of manual and Y. Pavlov presented examples of problems and demonstrated its advantages. Participants had the opportunity to perform exercises and evaluate proposed collective forms of work, role-play and more. The participants also got acquainted with the exposition of literature by employees of NTB them. H.I.Denysenka new exhibition and professional literature.
The conference was held in four sections, which dealt with the problem of Discourse Studies and Intercultural Communication; functioning language units in professional discourse; translation problems in the context of professional communication; innovative technology learning a foreign language for professional purposes. Poster presented L.I.Taranenko doctoral and graduate V.Marchenko M. Kolesnik and O.Sokyrska. Following the conference, a resolution was adopted.
