October 21-22, the VI Scientific and Practical Seminar with international participation "The economic security of the state and the scientific - technological aspects of its provision" (Nedinski readings) was held in NTUU”KPI”. It was organized by heat and power engineering faculty of the National Technical University of Ukraine and Tempus-project IEMAST (establishing modern Master-level studies in Industrial ecology).
Participation in the seminar was attended by representatives of foreign and Ukrainian universities, NAS of Ukraine and relevant academic and research institutions, industry and business, etc. The purpose of the seminar was to discuss a wide range of issues to ensure the economic security of territorial production systems, methods, tools and technologies implementation of public policies in the area of economic security. At a seminar the questions of the economic security, were primarily seen in the plane of the security of energy supply and energy efficiency of the economy. Considerable attention has been paid to application tasks to ensure the implementation of preventive information technology management policies of economic security of the state.
The tradition of all past seminar was the presentation of the previously published collection of the participants’ research results. This seminar was not an exception with a presentation of the monograph "The economic security of the state: the strategy, energy, information technology." The monograph is oriented on a wide range of experts on the economy, energy and science, as well as teachers and students of higher educational institutions.
