On March, 22 NTUU "KPI" was visited by the delegation of the Central European University and the University of Skalytsya and university of Koshytse (Slovak Republic ) consisting of the Rector of Central European University Skalytsya Heidi Shvartszova, the director of the Education Centre of the University Koshytse - Tatiana Varholova and the representative of University Kosice Mikhail Varhola.
The guests met with the Vice-president of NTUU " KPI " of teaching and research work - Gennady Varlamov and with the Vice-president of NTUU "KPI" of international relations Sergei Sidorenko. During the meeting the cooperation between the Central European University Skalytsya and NTUU "KPI" and expanding contacts with the University Koshytse were discussed. The Rector of Central European University Skalytsya Heidi Shvartszova proposed to launch training program for a double degree (parallel study): students who will study under this program will receive both a diploma of the chosen University and of NTUU "KPI". It should use the latest telecommunications technologies to provide distance learning. During the meeting, the participants exchanged information and printed materials about the universities which they represented and areas of training specialists in their particular organization and in their learning process. The negotiation was finished by signing the agreement about the collaboration between NTUU "KPI" and the Central European University Skalytsya. On behalf of the KPI document was signed by Vice-Rector for Educational and Research Gennady Varlamov.
