On November 12-13, 2012 in NTUU "KPI" the presentation of EUROEAST project in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus programme took place.
EUROEAST is a project of academic mobility for students, scholars and staff who are willing to study, to carry out research and training in universities of the European Union and CIS.
The project coordinator is Polytechnic University of Turin (POLITO, Italy), the co-coordinator - National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". Faculty of Linguistics and Applied Mathematics Faculty are NTUU "KPI” representatives in EUROEAST project.
The project will be implemented by a Consortium consisting of 20 universities from the European Union and the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy), Aalto University (Finland), Adam Mickiewicz University. (Poland), Free University of Berlin (Germany), Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal), Ghent University (Belgium), University of Montpellier 2 (France), Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), Gavar State University (Armenia), Baku State University (Azerbaijan), Khazar University (Azerbaijan), Illia State University (Georgia), Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia), Brest State University (Belarus), Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Belarus), State Agrarian University of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, Alecu Russo Balti State University (Moldova), Yuriy Fedkovch Chernivtsi National University (Ukraine), National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
EUROEAST project will last for four years (2012-2016).
The academic mobility in the framework of the project will also be supported for a period from six months to two years, depending on university and the needs of particular program of academic exchanges.
The acceptance of applications for participation in the first contest of EUROEAST project is scheduled for early December 2012.
According to all above mentioned, NTUU “KPI” students, postgraduates and staff will have an additional opportunity for obtaining new knowledge and experience in leading universities of the European Union.
