🤝 On Science Day, Igor Sikorsky KPI once again served as a venue for the President of Ukraine to meet with the scientific community. The Head of State familiarized himself with the latest Ukrainian achievements and developments, including the results of KPI’s scientific research.
Redrich Putyatin, a graduate student in the Department of Technical and Software Automation at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Engineering (FAPIE) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), achieved a strong result at The International Physics Competition (IPhyC).
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute launches charity.kpi.ua — a charitable giving platform dedicated to the recovery of the university, support for students, advancement of research, and preservation of Ukraine’s largest technical university.
During the All-Ukrainian HeatTech Hackathon, student teams worked on projects to modernize heat supply systems, decentralize power generation, and protect critical infrastructure amid shelling and blackouts.
📡The Center for Space Communications and Radio Astronomy has been opened at the Faculty of Radio Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The project was implemented with the support of sponsors, and the students set up the space themselves—from repairs and electrical installation to configuring high-frequency equipment. The laboratory already has an official license and a call sign for international broadcasting.
👥 On Vyshyvanka Day, Anatolii Melnychenko, Rector of Igor Sikorsky KPI, participated in the seminar “Dual Education: Experience, Assessment, Challenges,” organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine honored Igor Sikorsky KPI and Additive Technologies Science Park LLC for significant achievements in the development of science, innovation, and the implementation of state initiatives.
🤝 On the occasion of the Day of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, Anton Mykolayovych Oleksiychuk—a professor at the Special Department of the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute—was awarded the “For Labor and Valor” medal by decree of the President of Ukraine
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in cooperation with the KOLO Charity Foundation and the Swedish non-profit organization Beredskapslyftet, are launching the international grant project "Occupational Therapy Without Borders: Swedish-Ukrainian Professional Exchange for the Sustainable Development of Rehabilitation in Ukraine."
🤝 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) will work on the RE:LinkHUB social project—an initiative for the professional reintegration of veterans and people with disabilities. The project will combine engineering solutions, VR technologies, professional training in the transportation sector, and employment support.
