👥 The final event of the international Open4UA project—a three-year collaboration between Ukrainian universities and European partners aimed at advancing Open Science—was held at the H. I. Denysenko Scientific and Technical Library.
📈 In the July 2026 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, one of the world's most respected university rankings, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute maintained its strong position among both global and Ukrainian universities, reaffirming its status as one of Ukraine's leading higher education institutions.
Four high school students, selected through Ukraine's national team selection process and trained intensively by the dcua team at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, proudly represented Ukraine at the International Cybersecurity Olympiad and AI Challenge (ICOA 2026).

This is the Educational and Research Laboratory of Biopolymer Technology and Modification, where generations of students specializing in this field have studied and conducted research.
The Department of Electrochemical Technologies at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" has received valuable laboratory equipment from its French partners. This donation is the result of long-standing cooperation between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Grenoble INP – UGA and serves as an excellent example of how international academic solidarity continues to support Ukrainian higher education, even in the most challenging times.
🎥 After a several-year break, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute once again hosted one of the largest international student programming competitions in an in-person format—the 17th International Open Programming Olympiad KPI-OPEN 2026.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is an active participant in the Erasmus+ project "EcoMinds" (Enhancing Environmental Data Collection through Machine Learning and Database Systems), which involves five faculties of the university. The project combines information technology and environmental science, preparing future specialists to address global climate and environmental challenges.
🤝 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted a meeting with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Paul Heslop, Senior Mine Action Adviser at the United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office in Ukraine, as well as representatives of the international organizations PCM and MAT Kosovo (Kosovo Mine Action Training Centre).
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the international conference "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Context of the Humanitarian Crisis in Ukraine: Risks and Opportunities," organized by the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Ukraine on the occasion of the Feast of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist.
