The Voice of Akademik Vernadsky Station: Thanks to an Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute Graduate
Recently, the 31st Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition began its work at Akademik Vernadsky Station. The team has replaced the members of the 30th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition and will spend a year at the station. The position of system administrator is held by Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute graduate Oleksandr Matsibura. This will be his second wintering at the station.

Recently, Team dcua from the Educational and Research Institute of Physics and Technology (PTI) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute won the Open Final of the Swedish National Cybersecurity Championship (Säkerhets-SM) in Stockholm. With this achievement, the team reaffirmed its status as one of the strongest not only in Ukraine but also in Europe.
