Cybermetrics Laboratory, that reports Webometrics rating two times per year, announced the results of the second rating of universities of the world according to scientific citation at Google Scholar.
First places are taken by classic universities of USA, Harvard being the leader with the citation index 1389765.
According to the last rating only 4 higher educational establishments of Ukraine were on the list but this time due to the index and rating increase, 34 Ukrainian higher educational establishments are already on the list. Among Ukrainian universities KNU n.a. Shevchenko come first, whereas NTUU “KPI” with citation index 15525 ranks second.

For NTUU “KPI” results of the following scientists were included in the rating: Andrii Fokin, Mykhailo Zgurovskyi, Sergii Peresada, Volodymyr Khomenkov, Viktor Bovtun, Yarema Rushytskyi, Oleksandr Brodyn, Andrii Shelestov, Nataliia Pankratova, Andrii Snarskyi.
