Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute ranks the best among Ukrainian universities according to transparency rating

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute left the rest of Ukrainian higher educational establishments behind in transparency rating of TOP UNIVERSITIES according to GOOGLE SCHOLAR CITATIONS .

Beta-version of transparency rating of the world higher educational establishments of Cybermetrics laboratory determined in December, 2016 covers results of 5000 universities of the world from more than 10 000. It can be found on the website RANKING WEB OF UNIVERSITIES. In rating TOP UNIVERSITIES according Ukraine GOOGLE SCHOLAR CITATIONS , Ukraine is presented as 101th university.

Rating TOP UNIVERSITIES according to GOOGLE SCHOLAR CITATIONS is determined by search application Google Scholar that specializes at indexation of scientific publications (articles, books, preprints etc). It is taken into account when determining general world rating of the world universities. Google Scholar application works by the same rules as Google searching program. But there is a difference: Google Scholar performs not only information but scientometric functions as well. Google Scholar robot indexes scientific publications on the Internet. Google Scholar robot visits only those sites relating to science and puts in its index information about the placement and content of scientific papers.  

Harvard University (USA) with an index of 1495497 citations takes top position in transparency rating of TOP UNIVERSITIES according to GOOGLE SCHOLAR CITATIONS.
