International Projects Department is part of the Department of International Cooperation of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
The main task of the department is to coordinate the activities of "KPI" as a whole and individual departments of the university in international scientific and technical cooperation and participation in international scientific and educational projects, programs.
The directions of activities:
- coordination of the activities of NTUU “KPI” in general as well as its separate subdivisions in the field of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation;
- ensuring the participation of NTUU “KPI” and separate subdivisions in the International Scientific and Technical as well as Educational projects, programmes (search, preparation, supervision and ensuring the fulfillment, accounting, audit, analysis of results);
- сpromoting the participation of NTUU “KPI”, separate faculties, Educational and Scientific Institutes, Scientific and Research Institutes in the international organizations activities (UNESCO, UNESCO-CEPES, CODATA, EUA and others), according to the profile of the International Scientific and Technical Cooperation;
- ensuring the contacts of the university in matters of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with governmental establishments, Government Executive Bodies and the departments of Ukraine, as well as its foreign representative offices responsible for public associations, foreign scientific establishments and firms, International Scientific and Technical Organizations and funds;
- promoting the development of scientific researches in the university according to directions and projects aimed at the International Scientific and Technical Cooperation support;
- attraction of new funding sources of the university in the domain of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation;
- provision of consultation assistance in preparation and registration procedures of international projects;
- dissemination of news in the field of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation, in particular about present competitions, international projects, programmes, scholarships etc. through the informative system “Dzheralo”;
- participation in the development and making suggestions concerning the conception of international activities of the university in the domain of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation, mechanisms of its realization and carrying out in practice;
- зsupervision of the abidance of legislative requirements of Ukraine in the sphere of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
