Although Faculty of Welding is more popular among boys, it often attracts pretty and smart girls. It is well known that complex subjects and heavy loads are not very conducive to quiet life of students at Faculty of Welding. Yet those who choose our faculty usually receive many additional advantages.
We’ll tell you about Anastasia Zworykina – a student of the 4th year who received scholarship from rector of NTUU “KPI”. While being still at school Anastasia knew she wanted to become an engineer. Her dream came true at Faculty of Welding, where she tries to learn the secrets of welding. From the first year on she was a straight “A” student. At the same time she is a student of the Joint Ukrainian-German engineering faculty, so she is already fluent in German and English.
Since her first year of studying she published 8 articles, including 5 performances at conferences, including three international ones. The first one was prepared under the supervision of prof, N. M. Fialko and was held in California on ICONE-20 in a city of Anaheim. Then came reports in Kyiv called AVIASVIT and university conference at KPI. And the last one was at ICONE-21 in China. Anastacia managed to improve and diversify her engineering experience visiting Canada for specialized courses of the IAEA at the University of McMaster (in Hamilton). Thanks to a partner of "KPI" - Magdeburg
Otto-von-Guericke University, A.Zvorykina (as a student of Ukrainian-German faculty) visited enterprises and research institutions in Germany.
There is constant lack of time, but she has to plan everything to have time for reading, being with friends, snowboarding in winter. And sometimes she takes a brush and starts to draw. Her faculty noted her as one of the most respected elders: a responsible, proactive and friendly girl Rector scholarship is not only a recognition of specific achievements, but also a powerful incentive to work on.
