For two days, on November 9-10, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Clean Water. Fundamental, Applied and Industrial Aspects", dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the university.

The national forum "Water in Industry and Agriculture during the War and Climate Crisis" was held in Kyiv. The event brought together more than 400 participants from different regions of Ukraine.

Students of Kyiv Polytechnic have created a laser that monitors the state of water bodies at any distance! More than a hundred such analyzers are being developed, and Europe is already taking the project under its funding!

KPI students are developing the first Ukrainian ceramic filter that will purify water even from a swamp or infected with bacteria. It will allow defenders at the front to always have clean water.

Water is the most common substance in the world and, at the same time, it is almost the most polluted substance in the world (mainly due to man-made activities).

On November 14-15, 2019, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Clean Water. Fundamental, Applied and Industrial Aspects" was held at our university.

On May 17-18 the Third Scientific and Practical Conference within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Student Project "Freshwater Conservation and Water Treatment as Components of Sustainable Development of Ukraine" was held at the basis of XTF faculty of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institu

The problem of supplying drinking water of high quality is on the front burner in Ukraine as well as in most countries of the world.

In the 2002 between Turkish government and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was struck the deal "About technical and financial cooperation".

It is already a good tradition to hold an annual chemical show "Discover the World of Chemistry" within the framework of cooperation between the Chemical Technology Faculty of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Kyiv Small Academy of Science.
