In the What to Read? project students and employees of the university talk about the books that influenced their consciousness.

New Year's and Christmas holidays give us a rare opportunity not only to have a rest in the circle of relatives and friends, but also to devote time for reading in peace and quiet.

Annualy in Ukraine there is an international linguistic and literary competition for pupils and students of the name of Taras Shevchenko, aimed at honoring Kobzar's memory and art. This year is already the seventh.

In May, 17 in scientific and technical library of NTUU “KPI” there was a regular art evening - one of the cultural and educational events devoted to famous people of history and culture.

In September 2015, in the KPI tower, the event that changed the literary life of our university took place – the LitVezha project came into the world. Boys and girls, students of KPI(and not only them) started helding theme nights devoted word of art.

A new term has started, and the cultural life of the University is intensifying.

One hundred years ago, on April 22, 1908 Ivan Efremov paleontologist outstanding scientist and science fiction writer was born. Somebody, however, mentioned this event a year ago, because the writer in his youth to find work added some years to his age.

August 27, 2002, marked the plant’s centenary of Yury Ivanovych Yankovsky’s birth, who was a Ukrainian writer, playwright, and a founder of Ukrainian cinema.
