World famous scientists

D. F. Chernega, the Head of Subdepartment of the Faculty of Physical and Chemical Theory of Metals Technology, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences (DTS)

A prominent scientist, metallurgist, Honoured Science Worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, was twice a laureate of the State Prize of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor Volodymyr Ivanovych Javoiskyi was born on the 10th of February 1910 in Ustiuzhensk (Novgorodsky province).

On January 14, 2010 we celebrated 90 years since the birth of Honored Worker of Higher School of the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine , Professor Vasiliy Mykolayovich Vynoslavskoho , who for many years was the Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Mining Electromechanics and Automation in

Alexander Sergeevich Kudashev was born  on 28th of January, 1872 in St. Petersburg in the family of state councillor . His father Kudashev Sergei Sergeyevich (1834-?), had five daughters and the only son Alexander.

Sergij Volodymyrovych Serensen was born in Khabarovsk in 1905. His father was an engineer. In 1926 he graduated from mechanical department of Kyjiv industrial institute (KPI) and in 1929 defended his thesis after postgraduate study.

Alexey Nechaev was born on the 19th of January, 1864 in the family of a priest.

Syminskyy Kostantin (1879-1932) - Academician of the USSR (1926), Professor, Head Strength of Materials Department (1911-1932), Vice-President of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1931-1932). In 1907 he graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Department of bridge construction, led by E.A.

Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Radzig (27.01 [08.02]. 1869, Tver Governorate, the Russian Empire – 30.12.1941, Bui station of the Northern Railway, the USSR) – the founder of national steam turbine building, teacher and scientist.
