A modern space for training a new generation of engineers has been opened on the basis of the Instrument Engineering Faculty (PBF).

The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (FMF) of our university now has a modern laboratory with 17 high-tech workstations, which will serve as a basis for integrating innovative artificial intelligence methods into the educational space, as well as into fundamental and applied scientific research in physics and mathematics on the way to creating new technologies.

📌 260 m² of creativity and networking! MacPaw AI Lab at Bilka Space at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is officially open! It is a space for research, development, and collaboration in the field of AI.

This is the first joint project in Ukraine with Keysight Technologies, a global technology leader in test and measurement solutions for the electronics, aerospace, telecommunications, defense, education, and scientific industries.

On September 24, 2025, the Mechanical Design & Robotics Lab, created by Ajax Systems in collaboration with KPI, was opened.

With the assistance and support of one of the largest Ukrainian miltech companies SkyFall, the Faculty of Radio Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute opened a state-of-the-art laboratory of signals and processes in radio engineering, which is not inferior to the European level and has no analogues in Ukraine.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between DTEK Renewables and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a renewable energy laboratory and a wind energy lecture hall were opened at the Educational and Research Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management (IEE) to train specialists who will rebuild the Ukrainian energy industry.

Kyiv Polytechnic students will be able to comprehensively study the entire air treatment system and manage ventilation systems on the basis of the newly created Scientific and Educational Laboratory “Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning”.

The Institute of Physics and Technology of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) opened the first educational "Cybersecurity Industrial Control System Laboratory" with the support of the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity.

Recently, a memorial plaque in honor of its famous resident, the outstanding Ukrainian scientist and engineer Yevhen Oskarovych Paton, was unveiled on the historic residential building #5, which is an integral part of the KPI campus.
