Shevchenkiana forever

Under this title an exhibition on the life and work of the poet was opened in the 13th Hall of STL. The authors used a variety of means to present Shevchenko’s art: sculpture, paintings, photographs, books the last years of the edition.

Seminar Council of Young Scientists

February 26 Council of Young Scientists "KPI" held another thematic seminar on "Initiative study in" KPI "and promising areas as a way of organizing collective and interdisciplinary work."

The seminar was attended by teachers, graduate students and university students.

Frederic Chopin: some facts from the life of a genius

The great Polish composer Frederic Chopin was born on March 1 (Feb. 22, Old Style), 1810 near Warsaw. In the village where he lived as a child and where subsequently often spent his summers, Frederic became interested in folk songs and dances.

Round Table at the Polytechnic Museum

March 27 at the Department of History of Aviation and Astronautics named after Igor Sikorsky State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU "KPI" it was held a round table dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the rocket crash at the Plesetsk cosmodrome and versions on the causes of death of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.
