🇺🇦🇯🇵🇺🇳 An important two-day working meeting was held within the framework of the Humanitarian Mine Action and Security System project under the joint program of UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and the Government of Japan.
- Search for the most effective technologies for mine disposal;
- clearing Ukrainian territories of explosive hazards;
- Saving the lives of our people.
A team of foreign and domestic professionals will work on further projects:
📌 KPI specialists - the Educational and Research Center for Innovative Technologies in Humanitarian Demining, the All-Ukrainian Innovation Ecosystem “Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine” (SCU);
📌 Japanese technology companies Cognitive Research Labs, Inc. and Nose Kozai, Inc;
📌 experts and our partners TARGET LLC and the NGO “Association of Deminers of Ukraine”.
Further cooperation includes:
- laboratory experiments, testing and launching of modern drones and robotic platforms with mine detection sensors;
- creation of a Data Synthesis Center that will process information, generate maps of safe and dangerous zones, and provide them to users in a convenient format;
- distribution of roles, procurement planning, and project management to ensure that everything works as a single, coordinated mechanism.
Working meetings will be held regularly every few months to make our land safe and mine-free even faster.
