The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture have signed an agreement to join the efforts of scientists, engineers, and educators to develop new approaches to the post-war reconstruction of the country. The universities plan to create joint interdisciplinary educational programs that will combine engineering, mechanics, materials science, and other specializations.
“These are interdisciplinary programs that are demanded by life itself. Firstly, we need to protect ourselves and, secondly, we need to start building a truly secure, rich country,” said Mykhailo Zgurovsky, Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
An agreement was also signed between the Association of Rectors of Higher Technical Education Institutions of Ukraine and the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine. The agreement creates a broad expert environment in which experienced scientists will work for a common goal.
