38 years ago, a terrible accident occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. It destroyed the lives of thousands of people. It became the largest man-made disaster in the world.

Today, Europe's largest nuclear power plant, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, is under threat. It was seized and is still occupied by Russian invaders. The invaders use ZNPP as a defense structure: by mining the plant, they blackmail the whole world.

Three years ago, KPI immortalized the feat of the hero-liquidator of the Chornobyl accident, KPI graduate Oleksandr Lelechenko.

In the first hours of the Chornobyl accident, Oleksandr was called to the station, where he organized urgent work to prevent the explosion of the second stage turbine generator. By cutting off the hydrogen supply himself, Lelechenko prevented a powerful explosion.
