Lifting platforms 75 m height are going to be first developed. The platforms of this kind are the most required by the majority of firms.
“Kyivska Polytechnika” science park at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in co-operation with private joint-stock company “UPK “UKRPOZHSERVIS”” and “Spetspozhezhtekhnika and PTO” LTD had an experience of dealing with telescopic aerial lifting platforms from 30 to 58 m height. Now it is the first time Ukraine managed to develop series production of telescopic aerial lifting platforms 30 m height.
However, before manufacturing higher constructions Ukrainian firms are going to get consultation from South Korean company Horyong Co. LTD, which is the world leader in producing lifting platforms and aerial ladders. The authorities of the firms agreed on co-operative manufacturing of lifting platforms at Kherson mechanical engineering plant. The appropriate cooperation agreement has already been signed.
According to the prognoses, the number of lifting platforms manufactured in Ukraine will be enough for both domestic market needs and export. Taking into account all the prospects, the authority of “Kyivska Polytechnika”, “Spetspozhezhtekhnika and PTO” LTD and Kherson mechanical engineering plant proposed The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine forming the state order for specific equipment and assisting investments for series manufacturing of home-produced telescopic aerial lifting platforms.
