Celebrating occasions on the grounds of the Day of Remembrance and 74th anniversary of Victory Day over Nazism in World War II were held on 8th May in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Celebrations begin with the putting flowers on the monument by students, professors and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in commemoration of those, who have died during the World War II and of Kyiv Politechnics , who gave their lives and blood for Independence of our country in the battles of the East of Ukraine.
Among the people who have bothered together in the Conventional hall of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute there are war veterans and workers of the Operation of joint efforts, which was on the East, the children of war, veterans of Military Designation, cadets of ISZZI of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The principal of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, academician of NAS, M. Zgyrovsky, the head of public organization “Veteran Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, veteran of Military Designation, colonel Yuriy Nesterenko, cadet of ISZZI, honors pupil Anastasia Bryka- all of them have sent their greetings to the members of meeting. The first vice principal of the university Yuriy Yakymenko has claimed the acts of the gratitude to the Employees Academical Council – the participants of the battle fields on thr East of Ukraine and of the Kyiv Politechnics inspiration – the veterans of World War II and the work stauff.
In the end of the meeting the members were greeted with the artistic band of university’s Cultural Center – the members of voice band “The seventh feeling”, Folk dance ensemble “Politechnic”, childish choreographic studio “Postoliata” and the vocal studio “Solo”. After the event’s completing, the youngest participants made gifts to veterans(their handmade pictures).
