Volleyball competitions among the teams of faculties were held within the framework of the University Spartakiad in the volleyball hall of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Sports Complex from March 10 to May 16, 2017. Twenty faculty (institute) teams took part in the competitions, 42 games were played. Competitions are held with the aim of strengthening the health and promotion of a healthy lifestyle, increasing physical fitness, promoting and developing volleyball among students, summing up the results of sports work and the effectiveness of the training process of the volleyball department.
The competitions were held by the judiciary board of the Department of Physical Education and the Department of Sports Improvement of FBMI, consisting of the main judge of the competition S.A. Abramov, the chief secretary Z.V. Syrovatko, E.P. Dovhopol, D.M.Mishchuk, D.V.Tomashevsky, O.A.Kazarina.
For the final part of the competition were chosen the best teams of the university: FEA, ITS, FEL, IASA. In the course of intense competition, the winners were identified: the first place took the ITS team, the second - the FEA team, the third - the IASA team. Winners and prizes were awarded with certificates, medals and cups.
