Two out of six Ukrainian universities ranked in the new ranking of the best world universities QS World University Rankings have improved their position. These are the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute" and Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University rose from 431 to 440 seats to 411-420, Igor Sikorsky KPI — from 551-600 to 500-550.
Top positions of this year's ranking QS World University Ranking took the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University and Harvard University, which were also last year leaders.
