May 12 marks 80 years to the head of the accreditation Department, NTUU "KPI" Vladimir Efimovich Ugolnikov.
He was born in Vyazma, Smolensk region in a military family. In September 1942, went to school in the village Kircanski Totsky district Chkalov (now Orenburg) area, where in July 1941 was evacuated his family. Father fought at the front, and a mother with four young children feel the brunt of wartime. Little Volodya survived the horrors of the bombing, hunger, cold, disease, teen exhausting work.
In 1943, after being seriously wounded returned from the front the father, and the family in later years he moved with him to the places of his service. The children had to study in different schools, but Volodya is so serious and responsible attitude to learning in each class were awarded certificates of appreciation. I finished school with a gold medal in 1952, M. Uralsk, West Kazakhstan region. The same year, successfully passed the interview and entered the red banner of military-engineering Academy. V. V. Kuibyshev (M. Moscow), where subsequently the two groups of listeners was transferred to Kiev, in Kiev higher engineering radio-technical school (CVIRTA defense, where he graduated with honors. As one of the best graduates in the rank of engineer-Lieutenant left him there to work as a Junior lecturer. In 1966, Vladimir Efimovich has defended the dissertation on competition of a scientific degree of candidate of technical Sciences.
From 1968 to 1969 he served in the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, for the courage and bravery he was awarded the order of this country "combat feat" of III degree, and early received the military rank of "Lieutenant Colonel".
For a few years, 1972-1974, V. Y. squares were in spacemandave in Afghanistan. On a post of the adviser of the commander of the Radiotechnical troops of the Afghan army has done a lot to improve their performance.
1989 was for Vladimir Efimovich year beginning civilian life. After his dismissal from the Armed forces, from 1989 to 1997 he worked as assistant Professor of physics QUARTO. Taught "General physics", which was later developed and taught a course on "engineering mechanics".
Since March 1997 he became a member of the family Kashnikov. At first he worked as Deputy chief of educational Department, and in September 2006 he was appointed head of the newly created division of accreditation of the Department of educational work.
While working at NTUU "KPI".Yu.Ugolnikov has earned the respect and well-deserved prestige among University leadership, Department employees, all of whom collaborated on the conduct of accreditation and licensing of training areas and specialties of the CRPD and the University as a whole. Takes an active part in the creation of important documents determining the development of national higher education, is one of the leading experts of Ukraine on licensing and accreditation.
But, it should be noted, Vladimir Efimovich not only a physicist-specialist and methodologist-innovator. During the long years of his life his soul gave birth to a lot of lyrical Rome, there in the lovely poems on various themes: love for his native land, to his beloved wife, who for over 50 years, goes with him through the happiness and pain of life, military theme, ironic poems inspired by everyday situations that not everyone will pay attention, and even more, so just react, and many others.
