"Kyiv Polytechnic" has written many times about measures taken by administration for providing a comfortable education and student's work (as well as staff's work) during winter and autumn weather conditions.

This year, the students of the Aerospace Technology Institute, established in April, also took part in the traditional Freshman Day. “The Kyiv Polytechnician” asked his director, Ivan Vasyliovych Korobko, about the new unit, the tasks facing this educational and scientific unit, as well as about its students and partners.

Valentyn Anatoliyovych Svidersky was born on October 10, 1949. His childhood and youth passed in the village of Rokytne, Rivne region, where his grandfather and father worked at the local glass factory. So,from childhood he knew about the work of glass workers.

30th September - is the Allukrainian day of libraries. It is not the first its celebrating in Scientific and technical library named after H.Denysenko passes under a certain slogan, that determines the direction of activity, that have to increased attention.

   On 24th September V. Herasymchuk – a famous scientist, administrator and organizer, a professor of international economy`s department, is 70 years old. 

Having travelled Lithuania this summer, Ukrainian tourists got acquainted with its northwestern region – Samogitia, which retained its identity and culture for many hundreds of years, and Samogitians retained their own language and stubbornness.

In front of the entrance of the building No. 1 on the first day of October, “Sushka” (“Drying”) took place – this is the name of the annual exhibition of photographs taken by students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The unique “Kyiv-Classic” orchestra performed at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It’s one of the greatest ensembles of the capital that is touring around the globe.
