The military training

The five-day training of the first group of KPI students under the National Resistance Program has ended. Vadym Kondratiuk, Vice-Rector for Administrative Work of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, told the Kyiv Polytechnic correspondent about how the training was organized.

KPI students began to take a course in basic combat training.

Our students were trained in tactical medicine, the ability to detect and handle explosive devices and mastered the skills of handling weapons.

The Military Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has conducted an additional enrollment of students for military service. About 60 people from different courses and specialties applied for admission.

Our students took part in the project "Kyiv Defender", which was organized among students of Kyiv universities.

Protection of the Motherland, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine is a constitutional duty of every citizen of Ukraine. But you need to be able to defend your homeland.

The Department of Military Training of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute holds training meetings.
Future lieutenants acquire professional knowledge and skills of platoon commanders or combat calculation commanders.

A modern shooting gallery was opened at the Center for Physical Education and Sports Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on November, 28.

In March 1926, was the first All-Union Congress of delegates of the organization of military and scientific society of the USSR in which took part rector of Kiev Polytechnic Institute Bobrov. At this congress was tasked militarization of schools.
