There is a tradition to publish some materials of the past in the jubilee issues of newspapers. We also repeatedly posted on our pages notes and photos reflecting the history of the country and our university.

One of the evenings of a series of cultural and educational activities that are usually dedicated to outstanding personalities of Ukraine or Poland took place in the Scientific and Technical Library of National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikors

I want to show to the reader the peculiarities of my group in the former Geoengineering Faculty. I’ll try to demonstrate the influence of my group on subsequent changes in life of Geoengineering Faculty by scientific, educational and social activity of MA-6 group alumni.

I remember in the summer of 2010 we talked with the rector of the Kiev Politechnics Michael Zgurovsky to perpetuate the memory of the great polish scientist and public activist  - the KPI graduate  - Wojciech Svyentoslavskyy on the territory of "KPI".

On the 17th of April in the 5th corps (TEF) took place a meeting of students with a man-hero, high quality professional in the field of nuclear energy, in the recent past Professor of NPP and ITF Serhiy Shirokov.

March 20 world marks the 100 anniversary of the birth "Musician of the Century", the pianist Sviatoslav Richter. For Ukraine it is a special event, because a great artist is our countryman.

Kolya Mironov, Vladimir Teryaev, Sasha Kovalyuk and Sergiy Pasichny((this is for those who never knew them by patronim) remembers.

In 1940, after graduation from school, on the ticket of the Komsomol I was sent to serve in the Black Sea Fleet. Service in the training detachment of the Odesa naval base.

The singer Alexander Fedorenko graduated from Kiev Conservatory with specialization in "the soloist of the operetta" in 1985. He played main roles in performances of the Kiev, Sverdlovsk Theater of musical comedy of Rostov-on-Don, the Sumy drama theater and the musical comedy.
