Professional way of G.V.Lozhkin was started in Kiev Higher Radio Engineering School Defense Forces (1963.). His first works in the field of psychology have been associated with the study of the operators of radar stations in the special (combat) conditions. A systematization of experience engineering and psychological research allowed to prepare and defend his thesis on "Analysis Engineer ACS activity and development of psychological conditions to improve its efficiency" (Leningrad, 1976.). A more detailed and specific development of theoretical positions in training military specialists became the basis for the allocation of social and psychological problems of organization and prediction of joint activities in extreme conditions. This is reflected in his doctoral thesis on "Psychological foundations of forecasting the success of training of military specialists" (Moscow, 1984.). The following work has been developed by the scientific theory of psychological prediction success training given opportunities for self-development as a human subject. Psychological determinants of forecasting are based on individual differences professionally and socially important properties of individuals.
For a long time professor G.V.Lozhkin headed the department of psychology and pedagogy of the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine. He was awarded the title of Distinguished Professor of the University. He prepared 5 doctors and 30 candidates of sciences. There are among his pupils a rector and two vice-rectors of universities, 6 heads of university departments working in Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Poland, and Tunisia.
G.V.Lozhkin has authored more than 400 scientific and methodical publications on various aspects of psychology. Among the most significant published works there are "Military Psychology" (1996), "Practical Psychology Conflict" (2000), "The Psychology of human health" (2001, 2008), "Practical Psychology in the system" man-technique "(2004)," Psychology conflict theory and current practice "(2007)," Economic Psychology "(2004, 2006, 2008)," Sports Psychology "(2011). Professional achievements of G. V. Lozkin were awarded by state awards, including 10 medals, badges of" High School of the USSR "(1988) and "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" (2000.).
G.V.Lozhkin provides expert work on the editorial boards of relevant scientific publications, among them: "Herald" KPI ". Philosophy. Psychology. G.V.Lozhkin is an active participant in scientific meetings at various levels. He was one of the initiators of the first National Conference on Psychology Conflict (1993), the materials of which became the methodological basis for the introduction of courses Conflict in the educational process of higher education institutions.
A high erudition, scientific passion, a wide range of research activities are inherent to G.V.Lozhkin.
