Yukhym Moiseyovych had been working at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute since 1965: he occupied various engineering positions, was a group supervisor, and a senior researcher at the Department of Radio Receiving Devices of RTF.
From 1972 to 1975 he was the head of the fundamental research laboratory of hydroacoustics, on the basis of which the Special Design Bureau "ШТОРМ" was created.
From 1975 until the last days of his life, Limonnyk worked at the Special Design Bureau "ШТОРМ" as the head of the laboratory, deputy and head of the research department, Acting Deputy Director of the Design Bureau.
During 57 years of work in Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Yu. M. Limonnyk developed a number of unique devices of measurement and processing of hydroacoustic signals, participated and was the responsible head of many research and design works of military and civil function, the author of a number of scientific works and inventions, member of the Science and Engineering Board of Special Design Bureau "ШТОРМ" and the Science and Engineering Board of IPT.
He was awarded several medals and numerous honors for his work.

Last respects to Yukhym Moiseyovych Limonnyk will take place at the Baikove Cemetery on May 10, 2022 at 2 pm near the crematorium building.
