MAIN TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT

  • Organization of civil protection measures in the University's subdivisions aimed at protecting participants of the educational process, property and territory of the University from emergencies, reducing the risk of their occurrence and ensuring the sustainable functioning of the University in an emergency and during a special period.
  • Ensuring the fulfillment of tasks by the governing bodies and civil defense forces of the University and maintaining their readiness for assigned actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of civil protection.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT

  • Ensuring the implementation of measures in the field of civil protection in the University's subdivisions.
  • Providing proposals, organizing and controlling the implementation of measures to ensure compliance with the requirements of the legislation on the creation, storage, maintenance, use and reconstruction of civil protection facilities.
  • Keeping records and maintaining documentation on the maintenance of civil protection structures of the University, organizing their maintenance and ensuring the readiness of structures to shelter participants in the educational process in case of emergencies.
  • Ensuring the placement of information (visual agitation) on security measures and appropriate behavior of participants in the educational process in the event of an emergency on the territory of the University.
  • Organization of creation and maintenance of special, local and object warning systems.
  • Planning and control over the preparation and implementation of measures for the evacuation of participants in the educational process and property of the University in the event of an emergency.
  • Organization and provision of individual and course training for University employees under emergency preparedness programs, as well as briefings on civil protection.
  • Ensuring preparation and control over the implementation of decisions of the University Emergency Situations Commission.
  • Development of draft orders on the organization and implementation of civil protection measures.
  • Developing an emergency response and protection plan for the University for a special period.
