Olexandr Anastasiiovych Dashkovskyi is a director of Ukraine-wide Scientific and Research Institute of Analytic Instrumentation Engineering, board chairman of JS company “Ukranalyt”, the founder of science and analytic instrumentation engineering PBF chair has his jubilee.

O. A. Dashkovskyi was born on April, 26, 1935 in Kyiv region. In year 1957 he got KPI diploma and started working as a constructor at Ordzhonikidze plant in Podolsk city. During 1960-1969 he worked in Specialized Construction Department of Instrumentation Engineering and Management systems as chief design engineer and chief of construction department. Olexandr Anastasiiovych took an active part in creating and developing of Ukraine-wide Science and Research Institute of Analytic Instrumentation Engineering (WSRIAIE) where he started working as deputy of construction department chief and chief engineer. In 1988 he was delegated as a director. He was awarded with the order of Peoples’ Friendship for his accomplishments in the field of analytic instrumentation engineering. Starting from 1994 O. A. Dashkovskyi works as institute director and board chairman of JS company “Ukranalyt” – the leading scientific organization in the field of analytic instrumentation construction of Ukraine.

In March 1989 on the recommendation of O. A. Dashkovskyi and rector of KPI P. M. Talanchyk there was chair of science and analytic instrumentation engineering for target preparation on subject “Instrumentation Engineering” founded in KPI at PBF. In 1998 the specialty is granted with name “Scientific, analytical and ecological devices and systems” and in 2011 – “Devices and systems of ecological control”.

Olexandr Anastasiiovych was one of the originators of many national analytical devices and computerized systems of gas analysis. Under his supervision and together with scientists of chair, WSRIAIE specialists work over development and production of patented devices for control of the main contaminants of atmosphere: NO, NO2, SO2, O3, CO, CO2, NH3, CH4, H2S, as well as automatic portable multicomponent gas analyzer 603ЭХ01-3М for air monitoring alongside motorways at industrial and process areas.

Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences, member of Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine O. A. Dashkovskyi is the author of the following scientific works: monography “Analytic and ecologic devices and systems”, great number of authorized certificates and patents, over 100 publications in national and foreign press, work in editorial board of “Technology and design of electronic equipment” magazine.

Thanks to efforts of O. A. Dashkovskyi, analytic ecologic instrumentation engineering nowadays is considered as independent branch of ecologic science, and according to curriculum of KPI it is interpreted with consideration of the concept of ecological education in Ukraine. For the years of teaching work Olexandr Anastasiiovych prepared methodology base and thought such disciplines as “Systems of ecological control”, “Atmosphere control”, “Factors for successful employment according to specialty”, was manager of several diploma projects and master’s works.

Being a diligent person with good relationships with colleagues and students, constant supervision over all aspects of scientific, analytic and ecological devices and systems chair, Olexandr Anastasiiovych deserved gratitude and respect of several generations of instrumentation engineers.

Faculty and staff, students and graduates of NAEPS congratulate the prominent scientist, moderator of Ukrainian analytical instrumentation engineering and founder of department on jubilee! Dear Olexandr Anastasiiovych, we wish you strong health, creative inspiration and new achievements!
