A modern university is not only an educational and scientific space but also a complex infrastructural system whose functioning requires substantial volumes of energy, water and other natural resources. For this reason an important component of the development of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is the introduction of the principles of sustainable development, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility into the management of the university campus.

🌳 Around a hundred young trees — oaks, birches, and pines — were planted today in the park area of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

🌲As part of landscaping efforts, “Vatereri” pine trees were planted near the university’s Building 6. The initiative to green one of our alma mater’s key locations was supported by the university’s labor union.

The Educational, Scientific, Publishing, and Printing Institute (VPI Institute) at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute presented a renovated shelter and a new student space.

Igor Sikorsky KPI has received a new powerful generator as charitable aid from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The generator has a capacity of 44 kW, it has already been installed, connected, and is ready for operation to meet the needs of the university.

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has introduced a comprehensive system of measures to ensure food safety for students, staff, and cadets.

Another important step towards the energy independence of the university has been made - an autonomous power supply system for the premises of the Scientific and Technical Library named after H. I.

Parcel lockers of the Ukrainian company ‘Nova Poshta’ will be installed in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. As you know, this company is the leader in express delivery of postal items in Ukraine both in terms of volume and speed of delivery. About 18,000 parcel lockers across Ukraine are located in the entrances of residential buildings, near shops, petrol stations, etc. Through Nova Poshta's parcel lockers, you can not only receive but also send parcels and documents.
