Summer School "Achievements and application of contemporary informatics, mathematics and physics" (AACIMP) is a scientific and educational project, which for seven years has been successfully implemented by the Scientific Society of NTUU "KPI" undergraduate and graduate students. Participation in the AACIMP Summer School is a unique opportunity to expand one's horizons, learn about the latest developments in science and modern high technology, current issues of scientific and technological development of society.
Seventh International Summer School "Achievements and the application of contemporary informatics, mathematics and physics" (AACIMP-2012) was held at the university on August 3-16. Its participants were 80 students from 18 countries. Lectures were delivered by renowned professors and researchers from USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, China, Ukraine and other countries. Because of this, the participants had the opportunity to learn first-hand what the world will hear only tomorrow.
The current summer school was dedicated to modern operations research, development of cross-platform applications for mobile devices, neuroscience, energy of the future. This kind of subject matters is fully consistent with the project concept, because it is designed to intellectual socially active youth, committed to self-development, is interested in the current state and in future is planning to carry out research and innovative work.
