Roman Kyslyi, a lecturer, researcher, and graduate of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Applied Systems Analysis at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), has been appointed Chief AI Officer at the WINWIN AI Center of Excellence under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
Roman Volodymyrovych is a graduate of the Department of System Design at the Institute of IPSA, a lecturer in the department, and an expert in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and defended his dissertation under the academic supervision of Professor Anatoliy Ivanovych Petrenko.
In his professional career, Roman combines research and teaching with practical experience in developing technological solutions for international companies, including Deloitte and Visa. He is also working on the development of Ukrainian language models and AI solutions.
In his new role, Roman Kyslyi will coordinate the development of key areas of the state AI ecosystem, including the scaling of Diya.AI, the integration of artificial intelligence into internal government processes, the development of national AI infrastructure, and support for Ukrainian AI startups.
One of the strategic goals of the WINWIN AI Center of Excellence team is to strengthen Ukraine’s technological sovereignty and develop innovative solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
