The Economy of the Future and AI Technologies as Tools of a New Era: KPI students met with university alumni—Members of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Kysilevskyi and Oleksandr Marikovskyi.
📢 An open meeting was held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with:
🔹 Dmytro Kysilevskyi — Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, a graduate of the Faculty of Sociology and Law;
🔸 Oleksandr Marikovskyi — Chair of the Subcommittee on Regional Economic Cooperation and Trade, a graduate of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
📃 Students, faculty, and university guests discussed the economy of the future, factors influencing Ukraine’s competitiveness, and how artificial intelligence is already transforming education, business, and the professional environment today.
🔺Key topics included:
• Possible models for Ukraine’s development—resource-based or high-tech;
• prospects for economic growth and the role of innovation in the country’s recovery;
• the importance of developing domestic production, processing, and high-value-added technologies;
• practical applications of AI—from startups and business to professional communities;
• AI tools as daily assistants in learning, work, and networking.
