Cadets from the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, National Technical University of Ukraine, completed an internship at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) under the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense.
The internship program included studying theory, independent learning under the supervision of an instructor, and observing the daily tasks and activities of employees of the National Cyber Security Center under the Ministry of National Defense of Lithuania.
The internship followed a structured program covering the basics of cyber research, adversary analysis, SOC (Security Operation Center) deployment, cyber exercise development, and incident response.
Over the course of four weeks, cadets from the Igor Sikorsky KPI ISZZI gained practical experience in creating and operating security centers, developing cyber training environments, identifying threats, and analyzing malicious activities through realistic scenarios and technical sessions led by instructors.
Such internships are of great importance for enhancing the cyber defense capabilities of Ukraine and Lithuania and strengthen communication and cooperation between the countries.
