The conference “WUT for Ukraine - Insights from NAWA Projects” was held in Warsaw, dedicated to the completion of a two-year project organized and implemented by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute together with the Warsaw University of Technology (Politechnika Warszawska), as well as partners of the ENHANCE alliance with funding and support from NAWA (NAWA Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej) under the Solidarity with Ukraine program.
The project, which lasted from 2023 to 2024, was attended by 132 participants from our university, and the most active departments were the Institute of IEE, Institute of IATE, FBMI, Institute of IAT, FL, PBF, FMM, Institute of IMZ, FEL, whose representatives had the opportunity to present Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute at the final conference of the project and share their experience in its implementation. The delegation from the university was headed by First Vice-Rector Mykhailo Bezuhlyi.
Conferences, hackathons, summer and winter schools, as well as trainings for employees - each of the 21 events organized during the project implementation not only became a source of inspiration and an impetus for students, graduate students, researchers and academic staff to start or continue cooperation, but also contributed to the intensification of cooperation between all ENHANCE partner universities.
The project results will:
📌 contribute to the further internationalization of engineering specialties and the training of future specialists as high-level professionals and emotionally mature individuals;
📌 develop the foreign language communicative competence of future engineers, in particular, search for innovative solutions to optimize the educational process in a foreign language at partner universities, as well as popularize the Ukrainian language and culture in the world.
