On December 12, the staff of the Faculty of Radio Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute together with the specialists of SQUAD opened a new laboratory of embedded systems.
It is provided with modern powerful equipment - four-channel oscilloscopes, signal generators, programmable power supplies from Siglent, Dell laptops, TP-Link Archer routers, Intboard interactive whiteboard and Optoma projector. This made it possible to implement the certified training program "Embedded Systems in Radio Engineering," which was jointly developed by RTF scientists and SQUAD specialists.
That is, the laboratory was created to provide students with opportunities to acquire practical skills in developing modern electronics related to programming. Here, they will be able to use a soft processor and other equipment to create digital devices with management and control and acquire practical skills in the development of IP cores for users as components of a specific embedded system on a chip.
These skills and abilities, based on the theoretical knowledge gained at the university, will help young engineers to work effectively both in the civilian sector and at defense industry enterprises.
