On September 9, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of the University was held. This event marked the start of the new academic year and the beginning of the work of Kyiv Polytechnic to achieve the university's targets.
“Legality, transparency and publicity of KPI activities, systematic and responsible employees, strengthening of internationalization - strengthening of positions in international rankings, digitalization of all processes, creation of new interdisciplinary educational programs - this is what the university team is already working on,” said Rector Anatoliy Melnychenko in his speech.
⚙️ There are already achievements and changes: Kyiv Polytechnic joined the concept of sustainable development and proposed its goals for its implementation, in particular: improving the health care system and raising the level of well-being, ensuring equality, inclusion, working to protect the environment, combating bribery, etc. Their implementation will help to strengthen and enhance the reputation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute internationally.
⚙️Також at the meeting discussed future updates of educational programs in accordance with changes in the List of fields of knowledge and specialties from the Cabinet of Ministers; structural changes at the university that optimize the work of departments; some issues of scientific activity of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
📋 Kyiv Polytechnics received awards from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for high professionalism in their work - two certificates and six letters of thanks. Also, two FEL students will receive scholarships from Melexis-Ukraine.
