Cultural and artistic life at the university continues. The head of the gallery Victoria Tiotkina told the correspondent of "Kyiv Polytechnic" about the exhibitions that have recently been held in the Hryhorii Synitsia Art Gallery.
- The exhibition of paintings dedicated to our university was held in the meeting room of the Academic Council on August 31, the day when the jubilee session of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute faculty was held to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Numerous participants of the solemn event could get acquainted with the paintings of KPI graduate, professional artist Oleh Mishchenko; co-director of the art studio "Harmony" at the Central Committee of Arts and Crafts Olga Shevchenko; artist-architect, watercolorist, organizer of group art exhibitions in the university art gallery Olga Bazhenova; member of the art studio "Harmony" at the Central Committee of Arts and Crafts Natalia Rasp and former teacher of the FMF Natalia Parakhina. Also, Natalia Kozlovska, a student of the VPI, winner of this year's KPI Talents art contest, presented her dramatic, philosophical works entitled "Pain" and "Revenge", which dealt with the theme of war. After the event, we moved all these paintings to the Art Gallery of the Central Committee of Artists. They were complemented by the positive paintings of Lilia Blonska, a regular participant of exhibitions in our gallery.
- What can we see in the gallery in the near future?
- We hope it will be interesting, but what exactly is our surprise.
