Dear Kyiv Polytechnics! I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of Dignity and Freedom!
This day is a holiday of national pride, a symbol of our independence and freedom. On November 21, 2013, Ukrainians began mass protests against the government, which wanted to deprive the country of a civilized European future.
During the clashes in the center of Kyiv in February, 102 people were killed - the Heavenly Hundred. Among them was Serhiy Bondarev, a Kyiv Polytechnic, a Hero of Ukraine, who died on February 18, 2014, from four bullet wounds.
Today we honor those who gave their lives in this struggle. And we continue to fight for the future of our country.
Unfortunately, the best die...
63 Kyiv Polytechnic students died during the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war, defending our country. 49 of them died since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
We remember the heroes!
May dignity always be our compass in life, and may freedom bring the long-awaited Victory closer and open up endless horizons of new opportunities in a free, democratic world.
The young people of our university have a unique opportunity to create a modern, free, developed Ukraine. May the Day of Dignity and Freedom be a symbol of unity, gratitude for the past and a guide for the future. A consolidated nation will be able to achieve the goals that Ukrainians have been dreaming of for centuries.
I wish you inexhaustible enthusiasm, courage and patience in achieving our goal!
Glory to Ukraine!
