A Scientific and Research Centre of NPP’s Reliability and Safety works at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Nuclear and Thermal Energy.
Students practice on a nuclear reactor control block train simulator directly in the classroom. The software of the simulator is completely identical to the real one. Such professional training enables graduates of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to work at new nuclear power units in Ukraine.
