IEF student Andriy Kozlovskiy tells about his participating in Erasmus+ exchange program among Igor Sikorskiy Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the University of Groningen (the Netherlands):
I found out about Erasmus+ program at the end of the 4th year. I decided immediately to try out this program, but the next semester's entry had already been closed. So I applied for the participation in students exchange in autumn and in the second semester of the 5th year I studied in RUG.
RUG is one of the oldest universities in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1614 — the second after Leiden, which was opened in 1575. The University is in the top 100 world and top 25 universities in Europe. More than 30,000 students study there and every fifth one is a foreigner. The university is known all over the world not only for its high level of education, but also for participating in many exchange programs with the countries of Europe, North and South America, the Middle and Far East. The city of Groningen, where the university is located, is small — about 200 thousand residents, about a quarter of whom are students.
